India Documentary: Surfing the Himalaya
Terras Aventuras Productions, Brazil: Greg consulted with direction and photographed adventure travel documentary sponsored by the Osklen clothing company of Brazil. The film, shot on 24P HD Varicam and 24P SD included helicopter skiing at 16,000 feet in the Himachal Pradesh, a motorcycle trip up the Rhotang pass, and a visit to the Dalai Lama's monastery in Mcleod Gange, near Dharmsala, India. The film will be released on Brazil's Globo TV network.

A Romance of Modern Architecture and Environmental Art:
Modern Biograph Pictures. We are in production on a documentary for the Aspen Institute about a dramatic intersection of art and architecture at the Aspen Institute's new Doerr-Hosier Center. Prominent Architect Jeffrey Berkus and famed environmental artist Andy Goldsworthy collaborate on the design and construction of a modern public building and a sculptural "stone river" that crosses the landscape, pierces the walls and flows through the interior.

Bob Lewis: We are beginning production on a film about the life and legacy of Bob Lewis, a biologist, inventor and educator who created the Braille Trail system, The Wildwood school, the Independence Pass Foundation, the Aspen Field Biology Laboratory,a series of educational filmstrips for schools around the United States and many other environmental conservation and education programs.

Ethereal Films: documentary about the design and construction of a futuristic sailing ship.


CURRENT - RECENTLY COMPLETED
Maroon Creek Productions: A Land Out of Time.
Premiered at the 2006 Aspen Filmfest. Also featured at the 2006 Taos film festival. Greg was Director of Photography for this documentary about U.S. Energy policy and it's impact on the landscape of the American west. Locations include new Mexico, Colorado, Wyoming and Montana. It features beautiful forward perspective aerial photography, and stories of conservationists, hunters, ranchers and other westerners who are trying to protect their property and favorite wild places from gas development.

Aspen Hall of Fame: Portraits of 2006 Inductees to the Aspen Hall of Fame; Dottie Fox, Connie Harvie, Nick Dewolf. Released on DVD.

Be A Bezos Scholar: Short film for high school juniors about Bezos Scholars program at the Aspen Ideas Festival. Released on DVD and distributed to schools across the U.S.

Kim Snyder Productions: March 2006. Greg photographed a documentary about a reunion of young cancer survivors at the Silver Lining Ranch in Aspen, Colorado.
