Literally THE GIFT OF A LIFETIME
Commission a personal film biography
Aspen, COLO. (Dec. 2005) - This holiday season, for that special someone who has absolutely everything, consider the gift of a lifetime - a biographical film portrait of their life. Award-winning director and cinematographer Greg Poschman has founded Modern Biograph Pictures, dedicated to creating commissioned personal film biographies.
Poschman, owner of Aspen-based Moving Media, Inc has created sophisticated and memorable films and documentaries, including A Song's Best Friend: John Denver Remembered, which was seen by millions of viewers on PBS in the fall and winter of 2005. His film career spans three decades and includes numerous awards, including three national EMMYS. His work for high profile individuals and organizations demands excellence, discretion and confidentiality.
Says Poschman, "The favorite moments of my film career have been when documenting unique events in people's lives. Everyone has a fascinating story that should be preserved for friends, family and future generations - about how they made or lost their fortune, how they raised their kids, or about a life-changing experience. After making films for years, I decided this is the perfect present for someone who has everything."
Recently Poschman was asked, "How does PBS or the History Channel decide whose life story is worthy of an in-depth biography?" According to Poschman, the actual question should be: "Why let someone else decide whether your family story is worthy, when you can commission the biography yourself?"
The cost of a film from Modern Biograph will vary with the length and complexity of the finished work. Poschman has made biographies ranging in length from 5 minutes to over one hour.
